SONGWRITING

From songwriting for Will Young to Alesha Dixon, Howard's experience has allowed him to contribute his talents to the music industry. As well as writing songs he also is great at teaching through workshops where he expertly focuses on the vocal harmonies as well as coaching and guiding the musicians to enable him to create, shape and mold a piece of music in accordance with his vision for the song. Howard Francis the songwriter has had a lot of requests to write songs for Choir's! Howard has worked with The London Community Gospel Choir for over 26 years and has written most of the songs that they sing!

ARRANGER

As part of his songwriting capabilities, Howard Francis is able to arrange songs to take to the studio. His arrangements either rewrites of a piece of existing music with additional new material or fills-out a compositional sketch and enhancing its complete sound.
 
Howard's skills include reharmonization, paraphrasing and development of a composition, so that it fully represents the melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic structure. Howard's arranging proficiency has the art of giving an existing melody musical variety.

Many artists including Michael Bolton, Will Young, Alesha Dixon, Misteeque, Desree and Mica Paris have had asked Howard To enhance their music with his arranging talents.

PRODUCER

Along with his specialised experience in songwriting and arranging, Howard is able to bring a variety of skills to the role of Producer. From producing for Will Young to Alesha Dixon, Howard's experience has allowed him to contribute his talents to the studio. He expertly focuses on the supervision of the recording, mixing and mastering processes, as well as coaching and guiding the musicians to enable him to create, shape and mold a piece of music in accordance with his vision for the album. He is prominant in selecting and arranging songs, overseeing sessions (and often engineering the recordings) and even writing the material.
