11.11.11 - The exclusive Chequered Flag Ball in Abu Dhabi has invited the soul sensation Mica Paris to perform on the St Regis on Saadiyat Island. Considered by many as the only way to start the Grand Prix weekend, it promises to be another evening of spectacular entertainment whilst enjoying a sparkling reception and gourmet menu. With a mix of F1 greats, movie stars and sporting legends including David Coulthard, Martin Brundle, Eddie Jordan, Hugh Grant, Kelly Brook and Boris Becker having graced the Ball in the past, they are expecting nothing less for this year.

Award winning artist Mica Paris will be headlining the Abu Dhabi Chequered Flag Ball. Mica is one of the UK’s finest and most respected female singers with a career full of top 10 hit singles and albums worldwide. She is currently recording a long-awaited new album of original material featuring legendary guest singers and musicians to be released later in 2011.

Noted for the range, power, and sheer soulfulness of her voice, Mica Paris' singing made an immediate impact on the UK music scene in 1988 when she released her debut, platinum-selling album, 'So Good from which she had her first top ten hit, 'My One Temptation'.

Mica has collaborated with respected artists such as David Gilmour, Prince, Jimmy Barnes, Jools Holland, James Morrison and been a special guest of legendary artists such as Dionne Warwick and Michael Bolton.
